Reynard the Fox
July 17 & 18 - 2PM
A classic French fable written by Arthur Fauquez, "Reynard the Fox" tells the story of merry trickster Reynard, a sly but hilarious practical joker who goes a bit too far with his tricks. A visual highlight of the show will be the detailed, brightly colored costumes and make-up for Reynard and his friends Crow, Hedgehog, Bear, Wolf, Lion and Marmet.

Ives Festival Orchestra **FREE CONCERT**

For the first time, the Ives Festival Orchestra, conducted by Fernando Jimenez, will perform a stand-alone concert at Ives Concert Park. This is the same orchestra that has performed each year at the end of the Family Fair in the fall. The concert will feature a full orchestra performing well-known tunes.

Manhattan String Quartet

Critically acclaimed as one of America's leading ensembles, the Manhattan String Quartet is celebrating its 40th season. Hailed by the Boston Globe as "a national treasure," the MSQ has appeared throughout the United States, in Europe, Canada and South America.
A sampling of what the quartet will play includes Mozart's String Quartet in D minor K 421 and Schubert's String Quartet called "Death and the Maiden".
